Saturday, January 22, my 15 hour bus ride from Mysore to Goa was abruptly canceled. A general strike called by the Indian opposition party BJP to protest the corruption charges against its minister. I ended up a busy bee for the two weeks leading up to Christmas. So to save time, I got myself a miniature horse to ride around. Here she is parked in front of the shala.
